Map of the trail |
I am currently planning a trip of four men who is
willing to cross the most rugged land in our country in search of the trail
once traveled by the Mayan people who crossed the Southwest Desert over 500
years ago, who fled the Inca Empire during the Spanish invasion. The trail goes
form the Virgin Mountains in Southern Nevada (The Site of the Inca Warrior) to
the San Francisco Peaks in Arizona. (The Tomb of the Virgin Maidens and the
lost Inca Treasure marked by the symbol of the flight of eagle) Over 300 miles of
desert and the steepest terrain known to man straight up and straight down,
including crossing the Grand Canyon and the Colorado River. Four men has agreed to take on the greatest adventure
of a life time that will take all of thirty days and possibly more, enduring
the scorching heat during the day and the bitter cold at night, that is only
part of the natural elements of the Southwest Desert of United States these men
will have to endure.
